Executive Director, Government Contract Compliance
Lisa Mathews (formerly Lisa Wolf) is the Executive Director of Government Contract Compliance for KPMG LLP, one of the “Big 4” Accounting Firms. In her role, Lisa is responsible for ensuring the proper assessment, compliance and training of all Federal and State and Local Government personnel for all contract compliance-related issues, including but not limited to the CPSR and all other relevant DFARS Business Systems. Prior to being with KPMG, she was the Regulatory Compliance Focal Point for the EVM and CPSR Business Systems at Booz Allen Hamilton. Lisa’s wide range of diverse experience as a practitioner has been in RDT&E, Production, Deployment, Software Development, consultation, and IT and support services projects of varying contract sizes and types with myriad clients.
Lisa is also an Adjunct Professor in both the System Engineering and Project Management programs at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, teaching Ethics, Leadership, Data Analytics, and Project Management. Lisa formerly served as Vice President of Communications for the College of Performance Management (CPM), co-dean of CPS’s Education and Certification tracks and Deputy PM for CPMs Integrated Project Management certification program. She was also co-Lead of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Integrated Program Management Division (IPMD) Contracts working group. She is a frequent speaker and trainer at several conferences in the U.S., as well as worldwide, including several master classes and keynote addresses in Egypt, Japan, the Cayman Islands, and Australia. She is a published and copyrighted author and former course developer and leader for the American Management Association.
Lisa earned her MBA from The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and has been certified by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI) as an Earned Value Professional (EVP) and by the PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP). In the little free time she has, she sings and plays piano professionally and is the President of the Linganore High School Parent Teacher Student Association.
